SBCC Summit abstract submission deadline extended
The deadline for abstract submissions for the Shifting Norms, Changing Behavior, Amplifying Voices: What Works? 2018 International Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) Summit featuring Entertainment-Education has been extended. Abstracts for oral presentations, poster presentations, pre-formed panel presentations, TED Talk-style “Comm Talks” and concept notes for skills-building workshops will now be accepted until 11:59 PM EST on Monday, December 4 (previously November 27).

There is a need to conduct a detailed analysis on the need to pay community health workforce because this may also put public health in danger if not handled properly.

I am in agreement with you that there is need for further research in this field. There is however experiences from the field and some few studies on incentivizing community health volunteers that have shown the need and the benefits of establishing sustainable mechanisms for paying them.
