DEV was a key participant in a study on household decision-making regarding health care and immunisation - including polio immunisation - in Nigeria, 2013/2014, by PHSS and The Communication Initiative (The CI) with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Located in the United Kingdom (UK), DEV's research "addresses contemporary challenges in developing and transition economies via methodological and theoretical innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration and a commitment that our research should make a difference. We work closely with individuals and communities often taking a long-term approach." DEV's research focuses on climate change, behavioural and experimental economics, environmental justice, social protection, and well-being throughout the life-course.
